Eternal Angler Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I know the Gitzit company makes a goby bait, give it a try. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted January 22, 2010 Super User Posted January 22, 2010 The Poor Boy Goby (dropshot) seems to be stealing the show, but I prefer the profile of the Strike King Go-B-Gone (your top image) Roger Quote
bhorlings Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Nemesis Baits goby works really well. They have some awesome colors. http://www.nemesisbaits.com Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 22, 2010 Super User Posted January 22, 2010 I like the Strike King Goby, it was a little big for the drop-shot rig imo but the smallies loved it. They hold up well too. Quote
mako Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 St. Clair fisherman here and I'm not sure why, but I've never caught a fish on a goby bait. I've caught thousands on tubes though. Must be me. Quote
TimJ Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 The poor boy (middle example) and the bass pro shops model work for me. Poor boy seems more suited to staying somewhat more horizontal due to less plastic towards the tail. These things work well on a c-rig too on StClair during slow times. TJ Quote
Super User grimlin Posted January 22, 2010 Super User Posted January 22, 2010 Nemesis Baits goby works really well. They have some awesome colors.http://www.nemesisbaits.com and poor boy....The only 2 i use. Quote
