Super User AK-Jax86 Posted July 7, 2012 Super User Posted July 7, 2012 Back in the day I used these 7" black, purple, and pink worms I forget what they were called but they worked great 1 Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted July 8, 2012 Super User Posted July 8, 2012 I carry the dang things around with me because I have caught lots of fish, and good ones too, on them. But it seems like they are an afterthought, and I only use them once every five years or so. Someone always seem to kick my butt on them at least once a year during a tournament too. Your post reminded me I still have a bunch, I might even toss one again some day LOL. Quote
buzzfrog Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 it seems to me that ribbon tail worms are used less today, for some reason, but i always carry pumpkin and tequella sunrise Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted July 8, 2012 Super User Posted July 8, 2012 A 10" black power worm is a real confidence bait for me - will almost always produce a few decent fish. A-Jay 1 Quote
Super User Sam Posted July 8, 2012 Super User Posted July 8, 2012 Yep. Excellent bait. I love the shaky head Power Worms. I have some of the 7-inchers that are no longer being made in Junebug and cherish each one. You can't go wrong with the Power Worm. Give it a try. 1 Quote
Missouribassman95 Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I use them more than any other plastic. Just seem to catch fish on them , then any other soft plastic. Maybe because I fish farm ponds. Quote
bassin is addicting Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 absolutely.... the 7" in camo has caught many fish for me.. and i use the10" black or black w/blue at night. Quote
buzzfrog Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 yea i love, outside of a trick worm, the power shakey is the best Quote
Blue Streak Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 They are a great bait and outfish all other plastic worms for me. I always have one tied on. Quote
Nice_Bass Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 There is no better plastic worm in my mind, and always have one tied on 7 or 10 inch. Always in pumpkin seed. I have to put the year on the 100 count bags so i know what order to use them in. A bag i got in 2010 is working great, just opened it this weekend. Quote
jerzeeD Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 They are great!! I always have a bag of 7" and 10" in my tackle bag. They produce...period. Quote
