Fellas:

Stupid question...

My first tourn of the month was cancelled which means my next one won't be untill the end of July, a full month since the last one.

When I return from a tourn one of the rituals I have is to re tie everything before I go in the house, which means the knots will have been tyed for a month.

Do you think that would be problem?

I don't think so. I've had knots tied for years on rods that I only use every so often. If the rod is stored where it's not harmful to line, you should be fine.

Thanks Marty

I thought so. Since I've never had anything tyed on that long I wasn't sure.

If you're even mildly concerned about it, just re-tie everything before the tourney. Honestly, how long can it possibly take you to do it while you're checking out your other gear. A couple of extra minutes, tops? Re-tie them, and don't worry about it.
