Cody0707 Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Marriage life and soon to be family life has me wondering how much time others get to squeeze in for fishing. How much time a week do you make it out on the water? How much time do you need to make it out on the water before the trip is worth it? For me I get to fish about once a week for about 5 hours a week. I want to be out on the water for at least 2 hours. If I cannot get 2 hours out of a trip then I usually wont go. Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 If im going to tow my boat to the lake, I have to have atleast 4 hours to fish. Just not worth it with less time unless the fishing in unbelievable. I wanted to go this morning, but had a 9:00 a.m. meeting, so I slept in. I usually fish twice a week during the summer, so I'll say 15- 20 hours a week. Quote
Crockus Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 When I go fishing I go for min 3-4hours and try to go 2-3 times a week, unless weather goes south or they just arent biting. My fishing buddy who is married and has a 2yr old is lucky if he gets to go out with me once a month. Life is more important than fishing. Quote
