Mad Fisherman Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Hey guy's. For anyone who fishes in New Jersey, have you had any luck in swampy places? I have, but I want to know if I was just lucky to find this spot, or is it common. I feel like I drive past to many swamps without fishing them. Quote
BarryMR Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I'm still looking for a solid LMB/SMB location in or around Union or Middlesex County. Haven't found anything good but always open to suggestions. Quote
JeffNJ Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 What exactly do you mean by swampy? Like an actual boggy area or something like a cedar lake with shallow water and a mess of weeds? Im in oean county so we dont exactly have actual swamps in this area for the most part. However, i stay away from cedar stained water because i find that this type of water dosent hold much if any bass because of the high acidity. If you did find a good bassin spot in cedar water id say you are lucky. Seeing as your favorite lake says allentown im assumung youre from that area so id figure you dont have much in the way of cedar water up that way. Quote
Mad Fisherman Posted July 26, 2012 Author Posted July 26, 2012 Mainly shallow little places with a ton of weeds and snags. Quote
