Ok, I know I do things a little differently than most people, but does anyone else use aberdeen hooks on finesse worms? I've been doing it for awhile, and at times it works for me, just wondered.

Generally speaking, its something I do in light cover or failry open water situations. I rig it on a light or UL setup with the hook exposed. It sounds goofy, but I've been using it since I got my first pack of roboworms over 10 yrs ago. I don't know that it offers any real advantage other than I never have any problem with hook penetration with light line. if it matters in what I consider clear water I user 4-6 lb flourocarbon. Its something I only do on wieghtless on splitshot rigs, and maybe its just a bad habit I should quit.

If it works then there's nothing bad about it.

When I use a splitshot or mojo rig I use a ML Rod and 6 or 8lb flouro line. The only hook I will use is a #1 offset worm hook. Even with trickworms. Some people think I'm crazy but I've landed some pretty big fish with it including a 9.98lb bruiser out of the grass.
