bassmaster8100 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 What line size do you guys use for cranking? With summer here I'm mostly deep cranking for a while. What do you use and why? Quote
BFG79 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I use 10# mono (Sufix Elite) because it gets the crank down to max depth. Quote
CKFishin Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 12-15 lb FC 100% Berkley Trielene... It sinks and helps the crank get down and stay down at its depth Quote
out_doors_guy Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 mono for me, I know flouro sinks but I hate how it handles. Once mono has absorbed water, and it does, I feel it sinks nearly as well as the flouro anyway. Line weight depends on depth and cover. For deeper than 15'; 10lb, 6-15'; 14lb, shallower; 14lb and 17lb if I'm fishing squarebills around wood. Quote
