Super User Sam Posted June 28, 2012 Super User Posted June 28, 2012 Geeeez, I saw 104 and was getting ready to sing Happy Birthday to you. LOL!!! Quote
Super User Sam Posted June 28, 2012 Super User Posted June 28, 2012 Clayton, I can relate to what you are saying. Back in the 70's I lived for a year in Dubai and for three years in Iran. The summer heat and humidity are brutal, until you adapt. i remember the first day I stepped off the plane in Dubai. I thought I was standing in the plane's jet wash, until I realized the the engines were shut off. Long Mike, I remember a "cold snap" in Viet Nam. The temperatures dropped into the 70s and we had to wear our field jackets to keep warm. Being from South Louisiana anytime the temperature drops below 70 it is C-O-L-D!!! Quote
Super User tomustang Posted June 28, 2012 Super User Posted June 28, 2012 Glad I got out of that region when we did, even had our own heat wave advisory up here but it never happened Quote

Super User Fishing Rhino Posted June 28, 2012 Super User Posted June 28, 2012 This is for all you guys who torment us northerners in the winter. The ten day forecast for our area has high temps ranging from the mid seventies to the mid eighties, with low temps in the sixties. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted June 28, 2012 Super User Posted June 28, 2012 Right now its 99. Suppose to be over 100 for at least the next seven days. Quote
