Super User smalljaw67 Posted June 25, 2012 Super User Posted June 25, 2012 I'm making a list for the 4th of July tackle sales, some of it will be stuff I need like hooks, line, and the typical terminal tackle stuff. Well I noticed I had more wiggle room as I didn't need a whole bunch of terminal tackle so I can really concentrate on some lures I've wanted to try but just didn't get yet. As I said before, I'm a jerkbait nut and this time of year the floating, shallow diving baits are really effective and the first lure on my list is the new Bagleys Bang-O-Lure spin tail in blue tiger and gold/black stripe. The other baits I'm looking at are the River2Sea Biggie square bills, and that is my list because I really want to 2 colors in all four baits, the smalls in both the creepin and bumpin and the poppa in creepin and bumpin in the colors krackle and real perch. I have a few more but they won't be out until sometime after ICAST, and the one I'm really waiting for is the Spro McStick 115 shallow diving jerkbait, that looks killer, so I already have my money spent so what do you guys want to fish with? Super User MCS Posted July 2, 2012 Super User Posted July 2, 2012 I want a cavitator buzz bait and a jitter bug, maybe a pack of senkos Well I got the jitter bug and a pack of 4" senkos in blue pearl holo black flake. First time out with them today. Got 4 or 5 big splashes but no lands on the jitter bug, couple of strikes were little guys but I like it, swapped the hooks out runs pretty good.I am going to keep at it try a few spots with it day and night. The senkos worked no better or worse than my trick worms or rattlesnakes. 4 catches this morning biggest was pound and a half. Do like how heavy they are, sink fast, cast easy and accurate. But Jeeeeeze can they beamy softer? Might as well make the dang thing out of toilet paper. One little 8 inch bass torn the SOB in three pieces. Not durable for the price. But I like them might add a pack to the tackle box for when I want to sink fast and stay near the bottom. Which is different than most the worms I fish. Just pull them out for the tough luck days. logan9209 Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 All of the Rage Tail products except Smokin' Rooster and Anaconda (I have them), a real Senko (not the alternatives), and a jointed minnow (the 4"-6" kind). Also, the Zoom Swamp Crawler and the Gulp! Wacky Crawler just to see what Mike Iaconelli was bragging about. Quote

They're not available locally (read: the local Wal-Mart doesn't carry them) and I'm too cheap to pay shipping for a few trial packs. Tom Quote
