Where do you guys keep your rigs? I ask because we're in a subdivision that doesn't allow us to keep boats on our property, so we have to keep ours at an offsite storage lot. (And yes, carrying the batteries back and forth is a real pain, BTW!)

Just wondering if other folks face the same issue, or if most folks are lucky enough to have a garage big enough. If you store offsite, any good tips our suggestions for keeping life as easy as possible?

I live in a rural area, so I built a metal building big enough to keep my boat, fishing truck, assorted fishing equipment and other stuff.

I had a slab poured alongside my house and have the boat parked there. It won't fit in my garage and it sure beats parking it in the driveway.

I have a gravel pad on the side of my house for my shed and in season boat parking. During winter, I have a 2nd story deck in the backyard. I just roll the boat under the deck and cover it to keep the snow out for the winter.

My boat is a canoe - it's stored in a spare bay in my 3-car garage. I made a dolly for it so I can roll it around the garage. If I ever get a 3rd car, there is still room for all 3 cars and the canoe on the floor - but it would be tight. I would probably end up hanging the canoe from the ceiling in that case. Not consuming a garage space or being stored outside were two (of many) reasons why I went with a canoe instead of a boat & trailer...

I keep my boat in my backyard with a cover. It is a pain to roll it through the side yard, but have a trailer dolly for now. Next up is a concrete pad and drive to the back gate. Then it will be a piece of cake!

I keep my boat and camper under a metal carport on my large side lot next to my house. Never want to have to pay someone else storage fees plus it's nice to not have to go elsewhere just to get my property in able to use it. Locked up with as many heavy chains and padlocks as I can get on it also since I am not in the very best area. :cry4:

Live on a farm so right now it is in the driveway. When (if) I put it up for the winter it will go in the barn.

I keep mine in an attached garage. Our subdivision regs will not allow boat storage in driveways.

We have a 32' x 40' x 10' pole barn that doubles as a garage for vehicles, boats, and other toys.

Have a 24x30 garage to park the boat and truck inside. Better half has her one car attached garage to use for her car.
