Even something made so long ago has changed my mentality and approach to bass fishing. And the amount of tips i've learned from ask uncle homer has been immense. Lets all catch a bass this week for Homer. Quote

logan9209 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I've not had the pleasure of hearing about this guy until today, but I hope that his family finds peace and joy knowing that he lived a full and rich life. RIP Homer. Quote
North Ga Hillbilly Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I remember he suggested getting a cane pole and a bucked of worms and crickets to get back in the groove of proper hook setting, still one of my favorite things to get out and do for a relaxing evenin. RIP Uncle Homer NGaHB Quote
Super User Sam Posted June 25, 2012 Super User Posted June 25, 2012 I received a hand written letter from Uncle Homer last year. I think I will have it framed. He was one of the leaders in the bass fishing industry. His movies, Bigmouth and Bigmouth Forever set the stage for bass fishing. HIs book, Bass Wisdom, is a very good read for all beginners in the sport. We will miss Uncle Homer. Quote
