Yeah, I have two of the tru tungsten frogs, they're stiffer than the spro. Tell you what, I'll sell them for half price, private me for address. They've never been used. After I opened them and felt how hard they were I didn't waste my time, but if you're looking for a couple for your collection.......

Does the stiffer texture of the Tru Tungsten's make the hook setting tougher?

first of all , i know alot of you love the soft-bodied frogs , but you guys may want to try the Canyon Plastics 4.5'' frogs . the body is similar to a tube bait ( the body cavity , not the looks ! ) they run great at all speeds , get excellent hook-up percentage , and cast really good , and in case your wondering , NO , i don't work for Canyonplastics !!! . it is just that i have tried the SPRO , R2S , and SNAGPROOF frogs in and my opinion , they are a waste of MY time and money . i always keep at least three bags with me(Canyon Plastics frogs ) . fish them with a 5/0 Owner twist-lock hook with the CPS changed out to the 1/4 '' size (the ''large'' ones) then tell me what you think ;) heres the link = http://www.***.com/descpageFROGSCP-CPF.html

We carry a huge selection of frogs on our boat (I'm embarrassed to say how many)- it is our primary big bass bait (5-8LBS). They all have a place for me but day in and day out the pathetically fragile furbit does the job - just takes a lot of super glue and tiny tie wraps. The snag proof- the swamp donkey - the rts - spro on and on - they all catch fish but some just fit an individuals fishing style better than others,  I end up  using glue and wraps on all of them eventually

I had eight bass blow-up on this frog this morning and was able to land six. Sorry Dean, but I think I'm retiring my Spro frogs. These River2Sea frogs have a much softer body and make hook-setting very easy.

A standard $2.99 Scum Frog is just fine. Very soft body, collapses easily,,hardly ever miss with them.

River2sea has become my frog of choice as well. My second choice is the Boze Sumo frog.

Flipin4bass, is that mono tied to the frog in your picture?

It's braid. I started using line conditioner on my braid this year and after awhile the green faded.

Do they sell one that busts through ice upon landing ?

    Ahhhhhh.... I see. Ok.

As for the Ice Breaker Frog, would not hand warmers placed in specific compartments in the body be an applicable feature ;D
