Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted June 23, 2012 Super User Posted June 23, 2012 Probably the best movie I have seen this year. I will definitely be purchasing it when it comes out on blu ray. It was well worth the money we spent on tickets and snacks. What's not to love? It's got a fiesty red head, a gnardog king (which my wife says reminds her of me), a great story line, and the best part a demonic bear. It doesn't get any better than that. The demonic bear scared the hell out of my almost four year old whom decided he needed to jump on my lap. Otherwise though he absolutely loved the movie. If yall would like I can go into a plot summary, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone that wants to see it. However I would highlyadvise going to see it. Quote
shootermcbob Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Second the positive review. Very good movie. My 11 year old daughter loved it. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I want to see it. I really like movies that take place in the middle ages. I just think I will wait in till it comes out on dvd. I don't know how well the kids parents. Would like seeing a childless 26 year old male at a kids movie. Quote

My wife and I go to kids movies all the time and we don't have any kids. Don't know if I'll ever outgrow cartoons. It would be way different if it were just me though. I'm the same age as you and would probably wait for it to come out on dvd instead of going by myself. Quote

But as a single guy it would look weird. I have a niece but she is 6 hours away. My cousins have little kids, but there two hours down the road. So I will just wait to see it on dvd. Also I will ever out grow cartoons. I will watch phineas and ferb on disney channel. And fairly odd parents on nick all the time. Quote
scrutch Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 We are vacationing at Disney right now. It's raining so tonight the plans will include that movie. Thanks for the review. Quote
