Megastink Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Does anyone know how, or can post a video on, how to create a closed loop on spinnerbait wire? A loop as in where you would attach the swivel for the blade at the end of the arm. Thanks! Quote

Super User smalljaw67 Posted June 23, 2012 Super User Posted June 23, 2012 How about tips on wrapped loops, also! To make the loop I use a round nose pliers, I find it is quicker to do that instead of with the bender. I don't use a wrapped loop as I can make a tight enough loop that it remains against the shaft keep the spinner blade and swivel in the loop. What I do is make the loop and actually bring the tag end past the blade arm and then bring it back, this creates a spring effect and eliminates the need for any wraps. Quote
prjavelin Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 agree with smalljaw the best way is to use rounded nose pliers. I recently opened one of my spinnerbaits and it was all warped up. I got it fixed with the pliers really fast and easily. Quote
