11justin22 Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Allows it to be more manageable with less memory. Quote
MaineBassFishin Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Yep helps FC a ton and it allows for farther casting which is good when cranking Quote
Super User LgMouthGambler Posted June 22, 2012 Super User Posted June 22, 2012 Its great on salad! I use it on the reel to clean it after I use it, and the line on the spool the night before, and just before the first cast. Also, its good on the guides every once and a while. It cleans, protects, and allows the line to be smoother off the spool. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted June 22, 2012 Super User Posted June 22, 2012 Not that I've ever had one, but it also makes it easier to remove backlashes. Quote
rboat Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Use it every trip. Don't leave home without it. Quote
JaxBasser Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I ALWAYS use it when I'm using mono or floro. Helps with memory and casting. Quote
kylek Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I spray reel magic on mine the night before I know I am going out and sometimes during the day if needed. I won't leave home without a bottle in the bag. Quote
Jim McC Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 Thanks. I'm going to have to try it. Any particular brand to look for? Is it available at Walmart? Quote

Jig Meister Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Tackle warehouse, and I also believe Gander Mnt. has it for sale if there is one near you, I am sure Bass Pro Shops also has it. Quote
Nodda4me Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Tackle warehouse, and I also believe Gander Mnt. has it for sale if there is one near you, I am sure Bass Pro Shops also has it. Gander doesn't carry it, at least not around here. They do have Ardent Line Butter Conditioner. Never used it. Quote

Jim McC Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 Are there certain types of lines it should not be used on? Quote

Global Moderator Mike L Posted June 23, 2012 Global Moderator Posted June 23, 2012 I used the Ardent line butter and then tryed the KVD line and lure.. Havent touched the line butter since. Mike Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted June 23, 2012 Super User Posted June 23, 2012 One more vote for the KVD Line and Lure. I use P-Line CXX and the difference with the conditioner and without is huge. It is well worth the money, and I am very cost conscious. Quote
