Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted June 26, 2012 Super User Posted June 26, 2012 So many decisions for these rods! Everyone seems to recommend Dobyns and Powell huh... Thinking about going with 65lb Braid but not sure which line to choose. Can you really go wrong with Power Pro or The 832? I never hear about bad braid line that much.. Im leaning towards the Dobyns rods... Either going to be the 735c or 736c. Not sure which one to go with. Which model is better for what condition? Thanks again everyone! Either one of the two rods will do just fine. Pick the power based on how heavy the cover is in the areas you normally fish. Both of them will work great. I've only got 832 on mine right now because I'm testing it out some. I've notice that it tends to dig in a bit more than other braids, though it is getting better over time. I've had it on for a few months now, it's not bad overall. I still don't think you can beat the performance of regular old Power Pro though. Especially for the price. It's only fault is that it's loud as hell going through the guides. Quote
