BassinNY Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Ragetail Space Monkey. I can cover the entire water column with it and rig it many ways. Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted June 20, 2012 Super User Posted June 20, 2012 I have two. Deep running chartruse Bomber or a chartruse beetle spin. No matter what other baits I am running, when the fish wont bite, I fall back on the two old faithfuls Quote
PineappleWater Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 My first lucky craft sammy 100sp in chartreuse. I guess it's something that I can always count on in the summer if I see bait fish jumping in open water and because it was my first topwater lure that I learn "to walk the dog" Quote
JamesD Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I have this old Bandit crank bait with a small bill that I refer to as 'Ole Faithful'. I've caught Flathead catfish, small mouth bass, and large mouth bass on it. It's an amazing crank... https://www.banditlures.com/shop_product.asp?pid=7 Quote
ChiCityBasser Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Right now its a watermelon or green pumkin fat ika dipped in JJ's magic rigged upside down with a worm rattle inserted. It normally gets the job done when nothing else will pull the fish. Quote
Mrs. Matstone Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 C rigged eeliminator, jig and rage craw or rage shad for topwater . Quote

Mad Fisherman Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 A few years back, a friend of mine and my dad on the other side of the country sent us a box of lure's. All looked great. Great paint gobs, super hooks. I went fishing one day with my dad to try them out, on the way back, we forgot our whole tackle box, all of our new and old lures. All that was left was one small crankbait that was on my rod. It was long and thin and gold. Maybe1.5 inches. BEST LURE EVER! I've caught so many bass on that lure. Whenever all else fails, that lure would always get me a fish. Never seen anything else like it. Makes me think how good the other lures probably would have been. Quote
Jake P Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 There are way too many for me to just say one, sorry. Rattle trap and senko are among the tops for me. Those cover active and inactive fish. Quote
