What a battle, and you were probably thinking there are no Bonefish in Indiana. Caught this one in some timber, that is to say a Douglas fir 2X4 that was lurking in my cutoff pile. After a couple hours of struggle I finally got him on the wall. You will have to forgive the poor paint job, don't have many Bonefish examples to go by here in Indiana.

Have not been making any crankbaits lately but I have been carving a lot of fish replicas.

Thank you gentlemen.

Been good Rick, getting in a lot more fishing this year. I have not made a crankbait since Feb. and it sure does give a lot more time for fishing. Did not retire to stay that busy. Got a 6lb 12oz and a 5lb 4oz smallie at St. Clair this year, mid May, didn't have any 100 fish days like last year but managed a few bigger fish. Last year, after doing the math on the number of smallies caught and the number of hours fished we averaged a smallie every 4 minutes.

Beauty John, I would love to catch smallies that big....but you have to go fishin' to do that!
