BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted June 12, 2012 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted June 12, 2012 As a family we decided that this summer we were going to do other outdoor activities besides fishing. Blasphemy, I know, but it sounded like a good idea at the time. Mountain biking, hang gliding, Kayaking were just a few of the ideas that we came up with. I will be sharing these adventures with you guys in an effort to prove that you are not dead at age 45. So on the first vacation of the summer in the middle of a fishing trip to West Point Lake, Callaway Gardens Tree Top tour was a fun diversion. All geared up and ready to go Nicole and Taylor crossing obstacle #1 Taylor crossing the rope swing steps. Man these were hard. Tater and Dad in a pine tree. Way up in a pine tree. Taylor, coming back to earth on the last zip line 27 obstacles, 5 zip lines and an hour later we are finally done and back on the ground, exhausted. Episode 2 coming soon. Quote
Scorcher214 Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 It's not fishing, but sure does look like fun! I've always wanted to try going on a zipline. Is Tater's last name salad lolololol? Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Looks like a good time and great idea. Just FYI you can do some serious fishing from a kayak Quote
Bair Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I am sensing a problem. Did you at least try and fish the lake in the photo? Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted June 13, 2012 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted June 13, 2012 I am sensing a problem. Did you at least try and fish the lake in the photo? Nope, it's a private lake. However, I did scope out the outfitter on the property and get a list of boat rental (electric only) rates for next years trip. We will call this a "scouting" trip. Quote
