jslacker Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Delaware offers a program to promote catch and release, as im sure most states do, whereas if you catch a citation size fish you can send in for a patch. Here's mine from my PB caught back in May. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted June 12, 2012 Super User Posted June 12, 2012 It's a cool program, if it's setup right. My state is a bit odd on size and weight. I remember from hearing from old timers they use to hand out spiciest pins before they changed to the same single patch. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted June 12, 2012 Super User Posted June 12, 2012 Michigan does this as well. SMB entries must be 21" and Lmb entries are required to be a minimum of 22". I've been fortunate enough to make at least one entry in the smb category for the last few season in a row. LMB entries are more of a challenge, at least for me. I have manage 4 in the last five years. SMB waters up here out number Lmb waters 2 : 1. Some seasons I have at least 1 (sometimes both) by now, but this season I'm still looking for my first. At least in Michigan anyway. A-Jay Quote
jslacker Posted June 12, 2012 Author Posted June 12, 2012 I just wish we were allowed more than one a year... It would be better if it for one species per year, but its limited to just one award a year. Quote
