Hornytoad 10 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 hey guys, what are your favorite flippin' and pitchin' hooks. Quote
bassnleo Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Reaction Innovations BMF in 3/0 or 4/0 rigged with a snell knot. This is my primary hook for beaver and craw style baits. Gammy EWG Superline in 3/0 or 4/0 for tubes. Quote
Thefishy1 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I use 5/0 BMF hooks for all of my flipping. And I used to use these http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_27235_100010002_100000000_100010000_100-10-2 without a problem. They are good flipping hooks on a budget. Quote
EastTexasBassin Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I use gammy superline ewg's for everything I flip/pitch, in sizes 3/0 to 5/0 depending on the bait. Quote

Could you be a little more specific. I switched to Owner Wide Gap Plus from Gamakatsu EWG Superline. If I can find the BMF hooks this year, I'd love to give them a try. Quote
bmadd Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I gave the Paycheck Baits flipping hooks a try in the fall. Didn't get to use them a lot but I like what I saw. Quote
