Jedwards36 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Today, I was fishing a private pond and caught a BEUTEY at around 8 pounds. But I caught it on a chartreuse 3" bps stick-o nose hooked with #2 hook. Also it was caught on 8 pound lineThis is a small set up and yet caught a giant. Has anyone had luck with little lures and lighter line? Or is it just me:) Quote
Kyle Mahaffey Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 All my spinning setups are 8# lines. I use 3-5'' worms/creatures all the time. Quote
Jedwards36 Posted June 10, 2012 Author Posted June 10, 2012 I like the 8# line on spinning, and it handled my bass great. Quote
Clint C. Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Drop Shot, Shaky Head, Wacky and Weightless T-rig are my absolute favorite ways to fish. Using 6-8lb line on light spinning tackle. It definitely can pull in the big ones. Quote
