I own DD22, Fat Free Shade and LC Stacy.

Probably need some Rapala DTs and Hellbenders.

Anything else you all can recommend.

BTW, Which DTs?

As far as the DTs, skip the 14 and get the 16 and the 20. My main deep cranks are the Fat Free Shads BD6 and 7, the Lucky Craft Deep CB20, and some of Marty's (Big M) creations.

Some more you might want to check out though are the Strike King series 5, Luhr Jensen Hot Lips, the Manns 20+, and the Poe's Competition Cedar 4400 and 4500 longreach.

Mann 's Stretch series Kent ( 20+ , 30 + ), they fight more than the bass you are trying to catch on them but they can reach really deep. BTW, change the hooks, the ones they come with ........ suck !

Basstar Dredger in Chartruse---- something alittle different than we usually use.  DD22's are in my top 3 baits.....haven't used the dredger much, but I see alot of potential---let it sink to the bottom and slowly work it back keeping in the zone alot longer.  good at Pickwick???

I have used them to troll for striper, but they

are to hard to "fish".

This is what I was told by a guide friend :)

I do not know if you have ever used this lure in this pattern but it has worked wonders here in on Wheeler & Guntersville from the shallow runner to the deep diver. I have been so amazed just how well they have caught fish when none other has worked. It is just enough different from the Strike King Sexy Shad I was not sure if they would even work at all. I have used them in the spring summer & fall so this winter will tell me if they work all year. I will have to alter my retrieve.

Have a safe New Year.

Sounds good. RW- I highly recommend the Fat Free Shads in the Bill Dance Citrus Shad color. That is my top producing deep crank on Kentucky Lake. However, I do have one Big M sent me at the end of the summer that I can't wait to test out further.

Bandit 700 series. They may look stupid, but they catch 'em

X2 on 700 series, was my most productive deep diver for big fish this year, another favorite of mine is the Jackall Muscle Deep 15 Plus this one has a little smaller profile, easy to crank and most importantly catches a lot of fish.

I like Timber Tigers.  The DC 13 & DC 16 get deep pretty quick and come through sunken brush better than other baits.

If your looking to power dive

This isn't a bad bait either 15-17' depending on the cast

Your DT's and Hotlips dig the best without wearing you out in the process. With both of these lures because of the diving curve they dig quick so it is just a matter of picking the right lure for the depth your fishing. Then it's just a matter of casting distance to reach the max depth at the point where you need that specific depth. These two baits are the most accurate as far as the printed depth is the true depth. I also know you like that Yozuri line the best deep cranking line in my opinion is silver thread. It has the best diameter for the pound test and the diameter is more consistent throughout the whole line which also helps in casting and gaining depth.

I know Big M is working on a new deep diver model that you might be interested in when he gets the bugs out. :)

Tiemco Diving Pepper. Small profile crank but this thing gets down to about 13 feet.

Zip Baits B-Switcher 4.0 Silent. Works well in clear water.
