Super User Lund Explorer Posted June 25, 2012 Super User Posted June 25, 2012 I can see it now 00 Mod... "what'd you bring? Tequila? Yeah, What'd you bring? Bourbon? What time is it? Time for a drink!" SoFLaBass, come visit anytime pal. Robert - I've been to one of these roadtrips. If they all show up at your hacienda for a week, I know the first record your wife is going to be putting in the old jukebox: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdgKkjM4DTs On the bright side though, I do know a guy that still makes neon signs! Super User Redlinerobert Posted June 25, 2012 Author Super User Posted June 25, 2012 Here's a picture as promised. Waiting on the rest of the bar stools. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted June 25, 2012 Super User Posted June 25, 2012 Looks great, Robert. Love how it came out. I'm digging both of those bottle stands on the top. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted June 25, 2012 Super User Posted June 25, 2012 WOW!!!! Very nice. I recognize some of those from a distance. Some not so much! Besides, we don't need that many bar stools for a Road Trip. It would be a fall hazard! Jeff Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted June 25, 2012 Author Super User Posted June 25, 2012 Thanks guys. The house is old school so I went for the old saloon look with the bar. I think it came out pretty nice. On the left in front of Chief SlapAHoe is a real deal spitoon from the old west. I love that thing. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted June 25, 2012 Super User Posted June 25, 2012 The giant wine bottle is key! I almost bought one for a dinner party. Thought it'd be a great "challenge." Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted June 25, 2012 Author Super User Posted June 25, 2012 There's a few of those. Several magnums from Silver Oak, Pahlmeyer and Ovid, some 3 Liter bottles from Silver Oak and Pahlmeyer, a couple 6 Liter bottles from Silver Oak and a chardonney I can't remember, and the big daddy of them all, a 12 Liter from Silver Oak. That's the beast sitting on the edge of the bar. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted June 25, 2012 Super User Posted June 25, 2012 Not sure, I think it was a 12L I was looking at - maybe like 30" tall? It's a great conversation piece, LOL. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted June 25, 2012 Author Super User Posted June 25, 2012 12 Liters will make for a great evening. Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted July 17, 2012 Author Super User Posted July 17, 2012 I have one neighbor whom I've not met yet. They're traveling Mormon missionaries, wont be back until November. This is what they'll see before they pull into their driveway, as the end of their driveway is the beginning of mine. Think they'll like me? 1 Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 18, 2012 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 18, 2012 So no more Garlic Land for you? Where did you move to? (PM me) Is the Mrs. Gidget, or a new Mrs.? Sorry man, been outta touch! Quote
quanjig Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Nothing like being the new kid on the block and making a good first impression!! Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted July 18, 2012 Super User Posted July 18, 2012 Nice sign Robert, but could I suggest a different direction as far as the neighbors go? Invite them over for dinner and a movie. I'd think "Paint Your Wagon" would do the trick! 1 Quote
