So we've spent our first few nights at the new place. Of course the remodel isn't complete, but luckily it's contained to the 2nd kitchen and bar room. Today, I found out I can't run the pump that feeds the pond during the day or else I'll drain down the holding tank too much. I can only run it at night. Result? Not enough water to run the pump so we have no water until tomorrow.

Regardless, I love this place. It's beyond private, I have one neighbor who's Mormon and gone 8 months out of the year and did I mention the stocked bass pond?

I may never leave home again. :)

nice, Living in the country is the best iv spent my whole life minus college in the country I wouldn't want it any other way. No noise pollution no light pollution you can actually see the stars and hear all the animals in the woods some times you can hear some thing get eatin lol. its a 20 minute drive to go grocery shopping back home and even then I think its to close to civilization having to go that far. Congrats on the new place your gonna have to post pics of the finished result with them replica mounts in there.

Redline I don't know nothin bout no second kitchen, but I am (like a hobbit) a fan of second breakfast. It was not until I bought a pickup truck and 4x4 SUV that we were accepted into the little rural community I live in. We have two going concerns in town, a bar and a church...welcome to the country.

lol. I just watched that intro to Green Acres. That perfectly describes me and the missus. :D

OO Mod, come visit anytime. Bring some bottles with ya'. :respect-059:

K Mac your community sounds a little like mine. Only instead of a church there's a Mission...and the bar, well, I'll do my best not to get thrown out of there. :D

I'd like to raise a motion that we change the 2013 Roadtrip destination to RLR's new pad :)

I'll second the motion!

Tell you what. If Glenn ever has a RoadTrip here in California, I will host a BBQ for all at Green Acres.

Of course, we will end up at my favorite dive bar here in town and if someone doesn't end up getting thrown out, I will be dissapointed. :D

Party at Roberts house!!!

Grats on finally getting into the new place. I know youve been waiting for a bit to get in there. Sounds like a blast. Expect me to come a knockin if I ever make it out that way again. :D

I miss having a ton of privacy. When I got into my place there was nothing here. It's slowly become busier and busier over time. Almost enough to tempt me to move again. That darn lake in the back is the only thing keeping me here right now.....

that would be a tempting anchor not to leave a place. iv moved quite a bit the past few years as my family grew faster then planned when we got married but theres a steady pattern I just keep moving up stream to the next lake in the series of lakes on the oak orchard river the river or one of the lakes has been either out the front porch or in the back yard loaded with small mouth.

next road trip at Roberts in the pond sounds like a plan what part of cali we talking now north south middle iv been to Southern cali a few times havent been to northern cali yet.

Well the bar is complete. And stocked. It took me the better part of 6 hours to get all the bottles in place.

I will post some pictures week.
