i bought an sk sexy frog for the cali delta tournament this saturday and hadnt had a chance to throw it til today. frog hits the water, looks good, start my retrieve, move it about r feet and its under water and doesnt come back up. completely water logged. is there any doctoring i can do to make it perform correctly or am i out 8 bux on a junk kvd frog?

I've tried silicon around hook exit points.

awesome ill try that. i was thinkin maybe plug the lil hole in the butt end ofthe frog?

If you get it air tight make sure to put a couple of pin holes in the head so the hooks get exposed when the fish hits it.

That might be a purge hole so unless that is where the leak is occurring then don't plug it, also there needs to be some flex in body as stated above for it to purge on hit.

Spro frog does the same thing.

In my experience, no. However, it may happen. I leave spros on the dashboard in my car for a couple of hours in the summer to soften them up....it helps. As for the leak in the kvd frog, I would try a dab of caulking material. However, the scent idea sounds great and I might try that tomorrow.

sounds great. id just hate to be out 8 bux. i have another kvd frog that works great so thats why i went with another buuuuut got a dud.
