Super User South FLA Posted June 5, 2012 Super User Posted June 5, 2012 I've tried silicon around hook exit points. Quote
msolorio Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 awesome ill try that. i was thinkin maybe plug the lil hole in the butt end ofthe frog? Quote
scbassin Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 If you get it air tight make sure to put a couple of pin holes in the head so the hooks get exposed when the fish hits it. Quote
Super User South FLA Posted June 5, 2012 Super User Posted June 5, 2012 awesome ill try that. i was thinkin maybe plug the lil hole in the butt end ofthe frog? That might be a purge hole so unless that is where the leak is occurring then don't plug it, also there needs to be some flex in body as stated above for it to purge on hit. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted June 5, 2012 Super User Posted June 5, 2012 I use Mega Strike fish attractant instead of silicon to plug the hole. Quote
flipin4bass Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 You go Gene, now here's a guy who knows how to prep a frog. CB Hawg Sauce works good too. Quote
dwtaylor Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Spro frog does the same thing. In my experience, no. However, it may happen. I leave spros on the dashboard in my car for a couple of hours in the summer to soften them up....it helps. As for the leak in the kvd frog, I would try a dab of caulking material. However, the scent idea sounds great and I might try that tomorrow. Quote
