Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted December 31, 2009 Super User Posted December 31, 2009 The jointed shad rap is a flat out fish catcher and seems to work very well in colder conditions.(if you can say that in Florida ) Try using a slow steady retrieve then mix it up with pauses or use it as a jerkbait since this bait suspends.Not my first choice around cover since it doesn't float up. Need to get deeper? Try the number 7 as well. I really love the shad color and parrot but if firetiger works in your waters then go for it.Overall I don't think you will be disappointed though,it is a winner for sure. Quote
