If it works it is. New batteries alone are at least 80 bucks a piece.

There are too many variables to even make a guess. The age of the batteries and the reserve capacity of them along with the age and amp draw of the trolling motor will make for a lot of variation in how much time you would get.

If the btteries are good, all day. That's only a 12v motor. If you buy it, make sure you wire the batteries in paralell, not in series

that trolling motor isnt that old they just had it on sale at bps in davie for 99 bucks so either way your making it out with bundle purchase. an if you do need new batteries let me know cause i have a sis in law that works for interstate and they have them for 45 bucks with 1 yr warranty

You will get stopped in the glades, they patrol the canals. Just pay the fee and no hassles.

Braver man than me. Don't think I'd want to go out in the Glades in a small Jon, and I've got big brass ones... Ive seen them gators. But if you're hell bent on it, I can sell you a 12 footer with a title locally for a pretty cheap price. Needs some work, but hey, it'll be cheap. Nothing you can't do without some basic hand tools.

Ive been out there in a 17 foot canoe with 2 friends and no engine, didnt see one gator though. The seller already sold that motor, now i need to find another cheap one. If i can find one cheap enough ill get two batteries from basshunter954 and find a charger somewhere.

EDIT: basshunter954, could your sister sell me a battery charger? i was looking at this ad

Ovrnight before the day you go out so they will be charged fully. Or cl has batt. Charger cheap probly my pops my have an extra charger laying around at his job ill check and see if he'd sell one if you want.

And try to get a jon with the floor supports that go upwards against the side walls inside of the from the floor better support for weight an wave impact and hitting log or something in water try not to get a jon with flat floor supports/brackets just on floor. Ill deff keep a looking for you an let you know what I find.
