Used it?  What did you think about it?  Getting tired of my net taking up almost my entire starboard locker.

Why even carry a net? In case one of those 13inchers starts running you around the boat? ;D

I have one of the original ones that is a little shorter than the current model.

It is flimsy in the front of the hoop and the opening is kind of small to handle large fish.

It takes some training for your fishing partner to operate it correctly.

It is definately a space saver though.

Definitely a space saver, but overall a huge pain in the rear. Lasted one tourney day in the boat before I made my partner take it out. I'd rather go netless. JMHO.

I have one.  For the most part I like it.  You've got to teach yourself how to use it, to echo what Wayne P wrote, it is flimsy at the front hoop, which isn't a problem if ou're aware of it.

It does take a few moments to deploy and if you're fishing by yourself I don't have any spare hands.

The space saving feature is huge.  Anyway, I think it is a good compromise.

Burley, I got the Rapala folding net it. It doesn't take up much room at all.

I got mine at Wally World, I just did a quick Google search for this link.
