Gotfishyfingers? Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Ok Ok, So who's fishing where this weekend including Friday? I was wondering who's going to lake O', holy lands, lox etc. I'm taking a cousin fishing Saturday, not sure where to go, was thinking lake O out of south bay. Quote
BassHunter954 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 i might be in lox refuge in boat with cousin. Quote
evrgladesbasser Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 If Lake O is an option, then there really is no other option. The fish are biting great and the bags have been huge. Fishing down here has been hit or miss for a while now. They have been pumping heavy everywhere. Holeylands was fishing good til last week when they turned the pumps on. Now it seems they are trying to make up for lost time by running them wide open. There is a visible current out there now. Quote
wfolds Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Going to try some Shellcracker at Lake Kissimmee if not will flip for some Bass. Quote
piscicidal Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I'm fishing the KOTG classic Sunday....not sure where it will be at. They announce the location Saturday night in a meeting at BPS. Might fish Lox north tomorrow. Quote

salmicropterus Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I'm probably going out to 41 on Sunday unless the KOTG classic is there. I'd go up to the Lake as I agree with Evergladesbasser but I have a T out on the Alley next weekend and need to poke around a bit. Piscicidal, good luck in the Classic Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted June 1, 2012 Super User Posted June 1, 2012 Good luck, Mike. Go get em. Okeechobee is just fun right now. Went out and messed around with Robert for a good chunk of the day. Didn't land any giants. Boated a four, a few threes, and a bunch of ones and twos. Think we boated roughly 50 fish today. Most of the fish on the lake were on the outside edges of Kissimmee grass, the wind made fishing that stuff a bit on the hard side though. Sat in the canal for the last hour and got into a bunch of schoolies and just stroked them. Literally catching fish each cast, sometimes both of us each cast. All small fish, but just stupid, goofy fun. I think every bait we tried landed fish. They're hitting everything including the kitchen sink right now up on the north end. I think that's the first time I can honestly say I've caught fish on every rod I took with me. Quote
Gotfishyfingers? Posted June 1, 2012 Author Posted June 1, 2012 Soflabassaddict, Any rain, lighting. thunder? How bad was the wind? Quote
Super User South FLA Posted June 1, 2012 Super User Posted June 1, 2012 Soflabassaddict, Any rain, lighting. thunder? How bad was the wind? I can answer. Rain was all around us, but we had nothing more than a light sprinkle where we fished, we had a bit of rain on way back to ramp, but out ran it. The wind was much stronger that what the forecast called for, about 15 knots since it was white capping and made for a fun ride back to ramp, but nothing too crazy. Fish were on outside edges, just cover water until you find them. Not sure what tomorrow will bring though. Quote
gar-tracker Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 I'm heading up for the maiden voyage this week, boat rigging slow down delayed the trip last weekend, probably for the best with all the rain, this Friday I'm heading up to Scott Driver ramp. Going to be checking out some props. Quote
Gotfishyfingers? Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 Darn, I wish I was on the lake right now. lol Quote
GLADES Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Darn, I wish I was on the lake right now. lol Same here.. Quote
salmicropterus Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Me too! I've been sentenced to a day of hard and futile labor on the Alley this Saturday. What did I do wrong? Quote
piscicidal Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 LOL, David. You have a club tourney out there? MM41 or the turnaround? I was thinking of heading out there for a few hours Saturday morning. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted June 8, 2012 Super User Posted June 8, 2012 The last few days the bass have been busting bait in my ponds, it's been oppressively humid, I've lasted no more than 45 minutes. I've been tempted to walk out to my canal to locate some bigger fish or even maybe peacocks but the thought of insect infestation has kept me away. Quote
salmicropterus Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Club T..we meet at the turnaround, then you are free to launch at any ramp on the Alley but we meet back at the turnaround for weigh-in. Quote
Gotfishyfingers? Posted June 15, 2012 Author Posted June 15, 2012 so who's fishing where this weekend? Quote

Same minus me catching fish part...skunking at my moms house, algae in the canal, feels like hell outside and biting flies are there. I fish through everyone else on the board. Quote
