We went out Saturday morning before it got hot. I had a jitterbug tied on but the lake we were on looked like it was starting to weed up so I put on a green bronzeye.

I had been casting into the slop for about 10 min. when one finally took it. It was a dink, but it had both hooks in its mouth. I had three more hits, but missed all of them.

I think that I was so wired from the first bass that I started pulling too quick on the other bites.
