airborne_angler Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I had 2 jig skirts fall apart due to deterioration of the bands. Instead of tossing them I found a good band and pieced the 2 skirts together. Colors are green pumpkin with black dashes, plain green pumpkin, and the last color is a solid yellow like color with black dashes. In my opinion the yellow color shows the most. What would a good color jig trailer be to go along with the colors in the skirt? Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted May 27, 2012 Super User Posted May 27, 2012 I would throw a green pumpkin on there, but thats just me! Jeff Quote
NoBassPro Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I would throw a green pumpkin on there, but thats just me! Jeff Same here.. or x2 I mean Quote
airborne_angler Posted May 27, 2012 Author Posted May 27, 2012 What's everyone think of a Green Pumpkin/Chartreuse swirl color as a trailer for this skirt? Quote
Shad_Master Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Another choice might be a pumpkin (not green pumpkin) more of an orange/brown color. Quote
unionman Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 pick a color that closley matches a color in your skirt and your good. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted May 27, 2012 Super User Posted May 27, 2012 Sure why not. I rarely match the trailer color exactly with my jigs. Sometimes I do, but most oftern not! Jeff Quote
airborne_angler Posted May 27, 2012 Author Posted May 27, 2012 I was looking at a gourd green color as well or summer Craw color Quote
jignfule Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 I have a hard time not recommending GREEN PUMKIN Quote
dwtaylor Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 It looks like its between pumpkin and green pumpkin. What I have found that is great to soak green pumpkin trailers in water until they turn lighter. That will probably make the trailer more realistic like. Quote
youngbassman Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 I would have to say summer craw or green pumpkin but i am leaning to the green pumpkin side Quote
out_doors_guy Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Watermelon/red flake, green pumpkin and alabama craw would be my choices. Quote
