Super User SirSnookalot Posted May 25, 2012 Super User Posted May 25, 2012 Fished the outgoing and caught a nice 30" slot snook on a windcheater. Later on soaked a pilchard on an Avet mxj 30# mono line, and got hit by this jack. I couldn't land him, about 20 minutes into the fight I ran out of steam( almost line too) and handed the rod to my buddy, it took another 20 + minutes to land this beast. Pound for pound, as good as it gets. Quote
Super User MCS Posted May 25, 2012 Super User Posted May 25, 2012 a couple of nice catches! That jack is a beauty, thanks for sharing the pic. Quote
mg4u2nv Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 thats awesome! i know smaller jacks put up a great fight, i can only imagine what this was like, especially on lighter tackle. great job! Matt Quote
Nice_Bass Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Nice- good thing you caught a snook as well. Sirjackalot really does not have the same profound meaning...I still *** you salt guys! 2 Quote

Matt That wasn't real light tackle.......That would be a hard catch on a mh spinning rod, doubt that I could do it. Quote
mg4u2nv Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Of course. Either way its still a BIG jack. Again great job with the jack and snook! Quote
