Fished the outgoing and caught a nice 30" slot snook on a windcheater. Later on soaked a pilchard on an Avet mxj 30# mono line, and got hit by this jack. I couldn't land him, about 20 minutes into the fight I ran out of steam( almost line too) and handed the rod to my buddy, it took another 20 + minutes to land this beast. Pound for pound, as good as it gets.

thats awesome! i know smaller jacks put up a great fight, i can only imagine what this was like, especially on lighter tackle. great job!

Nice- good thing you caught a snook as well. Sirjackalot really does not have the same profound meaning...I still *** you salt guys!

That wasn't real light tackle.......That would be a hard catch on a mh spinning rod, doubt that I could do it.

Of course. Either way its still a BIG jack. Again great job with the jack and snook!

Nice! It's hard for anything to compare to a jack when it comes to fighting.
