wack Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 anyone have success with these? I haven't used them and am wondering if they are any good with senkos / trickworms. Quote
Shad_Master Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Personally I just consider it something else to be messing with when I could be fishing - if the water is too muddy for the fish to see the lure, I use something besides a worm - now this is my opinion, but others may have anohter one. b.Lee Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I kind of agree with Shad Master, I usually turn to a chatterbait of some sort after the water turns dirty. Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted December 22, 2009 Super User Posted December 22, 2009 I think there's to many lures with rattles...leave the poor worms alone.... ;D Quote
RobE Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 On occasion with a craw tube but never have used one with a worm. Quote
Chris Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I use a Florida rig weight for most of my plastics which has a rattle. Sometimes I use a glass bead behind my weight when fishing worms which act like a rattle. Regular glass rattles I do use with floating worms if I am fishing around vegetation to help draw fish out. I also use them for soft jerkbaits from time to time. In senko I have never used a rattle not that it wouldn't help in and around cover or in stained water. I just figured that it pushed enough water by itself on the fall. Quote
brianbass Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I use them on my worms(glass rattle).Im not sure if they help or not? They sure dont hurt. Quote
BassnMan Mike Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I use the little glass Gambler worm rattles but only use them in jigs or plastic crawdads to mimic the "clicking" of thier claws Quote
