I need a good Crankbait rod and reel combo together for around $125.00 to $200.00 any suggestions

You could pick up the Lews reel in the slower gear ratio and a Powell Diesel Glass crankbait rod for around $180 I believe...that would be a nice crankbait set up for that money. I'm sure you'll get some good advice here so take a look at all the options that are suggested. If you buy a Curado G off of ebay you can get one for around $129 and still buy the Diesel from Tackle Warehouse for $70...that keeps you at $200.

My local Wal Mart has a Lews Combo for $99.00. It is their Laser Reel, with 8 bearings, and their Speed Stick Rod, 6' 6" MH with Micro-Guides. Not a bad deal for under $100.00

You can get a Lews Speed Spool at most shops for $99.00. It has 10 bearing and comes in 5.4, 6.5 & 7.1 ratios. Many good rods available for the $100 and under range now. Skeet Reese rods run $59-99, depending on where you buy. Lightning rods run around $60.00. Falcon Buco run around $130.

Really up to you as to what you like.

I think the 5.4:1 Lews Speed spool and a BPS Cranking stick would be the way to go and is well within your budget.

I bought an Okuma Crankbait rod this past winter and I have really liked it. I believe it was 70 bucks then I bought a shimano for another 70 and its ok I'd probably take a look at the other reels that people are saying like the Lews.
