Super User Bassn Blvd Posted May 23, 2012 Super User Posted May 23, 2012 The only reason I'm not right now is because you're far, far, far away from home fighting so your mooshy, kissy, kissy, oh honey bunny I love you, conversation will be tolerated. I take it you two were texting since you noted the times. Please tell me you didn't write the times down everytime one of yall started to talk . Nonetheless, be carefull on that trip when you get back. That's how are made. 1 Quote

If she's willing to trade a trip like that for some diamonds I'd say it's a good trade. Whatever keeps her happy and lets you go fishing is a good thing. I bought mine a rod and reel combo that was more expensive than most of mine because she liked it and it keeps her happy while we're fishing. If she's happy while we're fishing then I can be happy while we're fishing and that equals more fishing time for me! Quote

She just got some diamonds for Christmas though lol. She wants a Veritas with revo premier spinning to go with it which would be nicer then any of my spinning combos. At first she was talking bout the MGX bait caster and a Villain but she said shed rather get that for me and she didn't want to back lash and was gonna stick with spinning till she gets better with my older casting reels. She loves to fish but only if were catching stuff right off the bat she likes instant results with everything she has very little patience. She wants to catch a musky but i told her late July early August isn't exactly the best time so she said bass would be fine or even perch and she would fry em up for us. I'll be happy just to be out there with her on the water she promised to rock the boat a little lol. Quote

Super User clayton86 Posted May 26, 2012 Author Super User Posted May 26, 2012 Could you enlighten me where to find a keeper like that!?! Iv known my wife sense I was like 7 we grew up going to the same baby sitter and high school shes a few years younger then me though but we've known each other basically our whole lives we come from a small hillbilly town where every one hunts and fishes. Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 26, 2012 Global Moderator Posted May 26, 2012 Could you enlighten me where to find a keeper like that!?! I take my wife fishing and camping all the time. She does pretty well when they're biting but loses interest quickly if they aren't jumping in the boat. It's a double edged sword though, I can't go to some lakes I like to go to because they are big fish lakes instead of numbers lakes when she's with me. Plus we aren't going to be there before daylight like I always want to be. She did just buy me a new BPS 100 mph suit for our anniversary though so I can't complain about that I actually met mine at a country/western bar a month after breaking up with my girlfriend of almost 5 years. It was the first time either of us had been single in a couple years, just good timing I guess. Quote
