Super User deaknh03 Posted May 22, 2012 Super User Posted May 22, 2012 Thats what hard work will get ya Chris. Nice job. Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted May 22, 2012 Super User Posted May 22, 2012 Dang it boy. Amazing how that works with the pictures ain't it. I've noticed that with some of mine too. In some I look massive, yet in a a few of them I look beastly. Keep up the hard work homie. Quote
Fish Chris Posted May 22, 2012 Author Posted May 22, 2012 Much thanks guys Hey Raider, that was your 1,111 post.... Coincidentally, my first double digit bass was an 11-11 Ever since then, I see that number all the time LOL Peace, Fish Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted May 22, 2012 Super User Posted May 22, 2012 Nice keep up the hard work. I'm gonna have to have my lifting buddy start taking pics of me he always asks cuz he has me take some of him every month to show progress but I refuse to do it I hate having my picture taken but now im starting to wish I had more before after pics. I hear ya on wishing to look that swole all the time also I feel the same way right after a good day at the gym and every vein is popped out and all that blood is in the muscles looking ripped. Yesterday was one of them days we did Bi's/Forearms and towards the end we were flying threw our workouts doing super sets with no breaks burning out our muscles hitting failure it felt great not so much today lol but it was great yesterday today was a triceps abs day and my abs are smoked. Fish Chris Posted May 23, 2012 Author Posted May 23, 2012 Thanks again guys Clayton cuz he has me take some of him every month to show progress Every month ? I've been taking a good handful of photos lately, because its been close to 1 year since I took any last. I've been lifting for just about 2 years. Plan to take photos about this time every year, from now on. At my age, I don't expect to see any real gains in less than a year anyway. Don't plan to ever stop lifting, until I'm ready to hang up the towel. The way I am, if I ever fall off of this wagon, especially now that I'm older, I'll be dead in less than 5 years. Seriously. Weight lifting, and this health and fitness kick is what pulled me back from the brink of disaster ! I'd have to be a comple idiot to ever let it all go now ! Peace, Fish Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted May 23, 2012 Super User Posted May 23, 2012 I'm gonna guess your either the cowboy or the biker. Quote

A-Jay Now how did you know that? I mean I know your in the front rocking the motorcycle helmet. But I thought the war paint disguised my true identity. 1 Quote
Super User Sam Posted May 23, 2012 Super User Posted May 23, 2012 Outstanding photo. Great background and lightning. I would say 3 years max if you stay on your routine. Quote
Fish Chris Posted May 24, 2012 Author Posted May 24, 2012 Thanks again guys But Sam, 3 years max ? Don't follow ? I thought maybe I had mentioned my 50 year old goal (27 months from now) of being at 225@ 9% BF.... but looking back at the thread... no.... You wouldn't mean like > And then I have made it, then I can kick back and relax... would you ? LOL This is really a "for life" thing to me. I hope to be still lifting in 13 years... more Peace, Fish Quote

I hope to be still lifting in 13 years... more Peace, Fish I plan on continuing for life as well but im much younger 25. I started off in February at 5'9 207 im now 170 even not sure BF% still kinda high id guess im having a hard time kicking this last bit of flab around my belly. Id like to stay between 170-180 but trade in this fat I have left for lean muscle. Have you tried the P90x or Insanity work outs iv done both and they will leave you more pumped and and sore then doing just weight lifting but I don't like not being able to walk so i don't do it often lol. Super User South FLA Posted May 24, 2012 Super User Posted May 24, 2012 Tell the truth that is what happens to you when fishing for BERTHA, lifting those huge bags of fish gives you muscles. Stay healthy and post some pics of that cool truck you have and of course more fish! Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted May 26, 2012 Super User Posted May 26, 2012 Good job Chris. Keep at it! Quote
GLADES Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 I remember some of your old posts talking about making some changes in your life. You are doing great Chris! I just proves even guys at your advanced age can get ripped.. Are you taking any supplements? How much do you work out each week? I need to lose 50-70 lbs. I want to be able to see my pee stream again....lol Quote

Fish Chris Posted May 27, 2012 Author Posted May 27, 2012 Thanks again guys. Glade, I can't take creatine .....as it messes with me afdter a week or two. I just eat REALLY healthy, and I eat a LOT {av 4000 cals a day} shoot for 200 gm protein a day. Was eating mostly natural for a while, but back to a whey shake every day too. I workout alternating muscle groups 5 days a week + cardio 3-4 days a week. So if you call cardio a "workout" then I work out about 1 to 1 1/2 hours a day, 7 days a week. To be honest though, it would be hard for me to "not" workout ! Addicted to the pump..... and SO far to go Peace, Fish 1 Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 What's up fish!? I really don't come around the forum more than a couple times a year lately, but I remember when you initially made your awesome transformation. I've been lifting now just over 2 years, and like you, I was pretty fat, unhealthy, and just not happy physically. Like you, I'm gonna lift weights til I can't walk...and maybe longer than that I have lots of progress pics on my phone, but you guys definitely don't wanna see me wearing tight little boxer briefs lol....so here's the only recent pic I have. I went from 220/225 down to 168 and shredded in the summer of 2010, then been on a slow bulk since then. Sitting around 185/187 lately, around 10% bf. Quote
GLADES Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Not a good idea taking photos in the locker room... Congrats on getting in shape. 1 Quote
