In an upcoming issue of BAM, there is an Angler Up Close interview with the "West's Leading Money Winner" Gary Dobyns. If you've ever heard him in a seminar talk about Roboworms, you've heard him give the four colors he always keeps on board.

Most of us, have many, many colors, but if you had to only pick one, what would be your must-have color?

love the mag and it is very imformative, i was once told if the water is wet, then pumpkin or green pumpkin will work, i have added blue flik-watermelon-watermelon candy- and in this pond i fish red bug is a a staple.

Something dark. Probably along the lines of black or green pumpkin.

Why do you guys always make us choose just one, these things are just like Lays potato chips... you can't have just one !!!

Green Pumpkin for me then.

Watermelon w/ black and red flake. But, not all bait companies make it. When they don't, it's watermelon w/ red flake. Black with blue, pumpkin with red, and a watermelon w/ copper flake/ Orange w/ red flake laminate sometimes get more action. But day in and day out it's watermelon w/large black, small red flake and watermelon w/ red flake for the brands that don't offer black and red flake.

Watermelon with any number of different flakes depending on the color of the body of water I'm on and the type, time of day.

anything with the color combo blue and green.

Two favorites of mine are Okeechobee Craw and Rage Tails Blue Craw.

I always keep Green Pumpkin, and some form of Black (with or without flakes), and I also like baby bass and watermelon colors... I also pretty much exclusively use Gary Yamamoto baits... especially love the "kreature" bait to go along with regular senkos
