I have been wanting to get some to try out, but havent gotten an order together here lately. Bluebasser86 uses them I believe, and he seems to do real well on them, hopefully he will give some insight here soon.

I had one of these baits but wasn't crazy about it to be honest. I do know I didn't like it pretty much from the first cast and ended up giving it away. I thought it looked pretty good though. It has a small profile which is nice. I'm trying to remember what I didn't like about it but it's been a while. I use Mattlures Baby bass and the 6" Huddlestons mostly. I love Matt's and Ken's baits....both top notch! I'm just starting to appreciate the Osprey baits as well. The Osprey has a great action due to it's elongated tail section...really gives it a thump and nice side to side action.....

Yeah I use the Decoy's quite a bit. I got a bunch of them for $5 each from the Cabela's bargin cave a few years back. They have a very subtle action and sink pretty slowly. They aren't Hudds but the 5" bait has a much smaller profile than the 6" Hudd, which is nice here where the fish don't react to the larger bait very often. It's nothing for a 12" bass to completely inhale the decoy baits. They've been pretty tough baits for me too, this one put almost 30 fish in the boat for me and was still going pretty strong. I just rig them with a #4 treble on the belly and it seems to work pretty well. Fishing it on a 7' heavy, abu 5600, and 25lb P-line xtra strong crystal clear.

I agree with BB. They're a pretty good bait through the Midwest, much more a numbers bait than Hudds, but will still catch a big one now an again. They're a reasonably durable bait, too.
