Hot n Tot Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Does anyone like these lures? I just ordered a couple and they seem to have a terrific action, much more so than the Rapala minnows. Quote
Blue Streak Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Great old bait and well made. I have used these as a jerk bait and a top water and they work very well both ways. They have a lot of action and are very buoyant when you jerk them under they will pop right back to the surface and have a tendency to back up a little. Quote
0119 Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Man I havent thought about them in ages. They were a go to florida river lure when I was growing up. Better action than rapala but more expensive. Great buy. Quote
river-rat Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 The #450 and #550 A.C. Shiners has been my favorite floating jerkbait for years. They are a little "pricey", but definitely worth the expense. Quote
Hot n Tot Posted May 21, 2012 Author Posted May 21, 2012 I just ordered a #450 & #550 and received them a few days ago. They are expensive, but I really like the action of these lures. I also got one of their topwater plugs with spinners on each end and the middle. I'm anxious to get them wet. Quote
