Did anyone else suddenly find that WFN was no longer on their available channels? I contacted them and they told me it got moved from the package I purchased to the most expensive package they had. I wasn't happy and got it added back, but wondered if anyone else had the same experience this week.

I was told the only way to get it now was with the $100/mo more channels than I will ever watch package or to get it with blockbuster@home, which also doesn't interest me. I'm a little ticked, sign up for certain channels just to have them changed. I guess contracts are one sided these days.

I cancelled that tier a while back when the economy went In the tank. About two months ago I randomly called Dish to see if they were running any specials and WFN, Outdoor channel, and one other outdoor station were being offered for $3.00 a month for the duration of my subscription.

I would think If you called again and asked about this you might get a different answer.

I will try that, I guess no one else had it randomly dropped from their lineup this week?

Dish and Direct both suck. I got mad at them for the same thing. Dish took my Outdoor channel away unannounced. I changed to Direct TV ASAP only to have them do the same thing to me 2 years later. I'm still angry about that one. They wanted $5.00/month to add it back! I can't understand how they can just sign you up and give you a package, then remove channels and tell you that you have to pay more for them! RIPOFF!! Rant over.

Well I'm glad I'm not alone on that. I don't get the apparent randomness of it or the fact they changed my channels with no warning, and explained to the guy I purchased the package I did because there were certain channels that were important to me. They added it back no charge, but I'm with you, I think its crap. Not like I can deduct $5/mo from my payment because I'm no longer getting the channels that matter to me. If I had to guess they put some much crap in the fine print as to make it what I would consider a unilateral nonbinding agreement, but that doesn't mean they'll let you off the hook.
