Well guys, I did it. I bought a Stradic. I saved up my money over the spring ( sorta ) for it and now I have it.

CI4 3000 size with 14lb test Suffix Flurocarbon on a E21 Wild Black Carrot Stix Spinning Rod 6'7" Med Heavy rod. I have got to say.. I'm pretty happy. This is the first really expensive setup I've bought, I'm gonna be using it for multiple things but I might throw a jig on it to see how well it handles. It's SOOO light. The only thin I don't like is where the hook keeper is on the rod so I'm gonna change that. I'm done buying fishing stuff for the rest of the year. ( Famous last words ).

Congrats on saving your money for this reel. You will not be disappointed. I have the 2500 on a med 7ft Carbonlite. Light as a feather, and it handles great. I have caught two bass around the 5-6 lb range so far this year and this setup did great. Enjoy!!

Thanks man! I already know I'll love it! I actually like this better than my Pfluegers.

I got a CI4 this year too, I actually like it better then my Sustain FE. I have the CI4 2500 on a JM Sig Series, it's feels so light! I had the President 6730 and it was alright, but to me Shimano is better.

Good selection.

I have the 2500s and love 'em.

You will have many years of enjoyment and success with the Stradic.

I have Stradic FI 1000's on my SC Avids for River Smallmouth. Great combos. You will love the Stradic.

I have used Sahara's for Years before I recently upgraded 2 of my Outfits to Stradics.

The Sahara is a very good Reel for it's price range but the Stradics are a cut above.

already tried it man, works good. The line I put on it is only temporary though, I'm gonna be putting Seaguar on it, TATSU is probably gonna be my choice, I have a couple spools laying around.
