Did you ask an associate? Sometimes they hide the good deals at my Academy, and I have to ask. For example: On Black Friday I wanted to buy one of the six piece swimbait kits for $30. They had it on an end-cap BEHIND the rods on that end-cap. It took me three different stock monkeys to find it.

Sometimes you really really have to hunt for what you want. At our local store they stock the Spro frogs by where they sale pistols. No where near anything that has to do with fishing.

You are right... excellent deals this year!  Better than last year, I think.  I stock up at Academy this time of year.  I also got a 5 piece lipless set for $10, as well as a 5 pc jointed swimbait and 5 pc jointed shad sets for $29 each on Black Friday

Dicks has just as much stuff as Academy. Normally at the same price.

I think the guys that live near an Academy should help the guys who don't have one near them.  :-[  I, for one, would be willing to compensate my fellow BR brother who was willing to help me with, oh..say..lures for themselves for their troubles.

Just came from Academy.

All crankbaits depending on size range from 3.29-3.99

They have kits on sale. Called Pro Pack. Has a Sammy type topwater, rouge type bait, and three crankbaits . Shallow, medium, and deep.

Kit is on sale for 9.99 (5 lures)

6 lure trap kits are also 9.99

there are others including swimbait kits that run as high as 49.99. I believe they had 6 swimbaits in each pack.
