Super User Chris at Tech Posted April 29, 2013 Super User Posted April 29, 2013 Though I can't attend Pickwick this year, I can have a little 2012 Road Trip deja vu! I'm typing this from the Hampton Inn Guntersville overlooking the Big G while I prepare for a day of fishing tomorrow with the Spinnerbait Kid. Hopefully the Big G is a little more cooperative tomorrow than she was for me last April! Looking forward to reading the Pickwick reports from everyone. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted April 29, 2013 Super User Posted April 29, 2013 Just got off the water with Dinky and Rhino. About 75 fish today. Most on shakey heads, wacky rigs and rage menace on jig heads.. Jeff 2 Quote

Siebert Outdoors Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Awesome! Are the fish shallow? I have come to a huge issue that I will hopefully be fixing tonight. I can not get my boat out of the drive way. The road has been ripped up and is about a 6" drop. All of this was supposed to be finished a month ago. So tonight I get to build a ramp. 1 Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted April 30, 2013 Super User Posted April 30, 2013 Wouldn't ya know it. I get a "Check Engine" light on the dash yesterday, and then a total loss of power. Got a display that said "Reduced Power." Well no shilt! I couldn't drive more than 15 mph. The truck goes into the shop first thing tomorrow morning, the day before I am supposed to leave. Ask me if I am PO'd. 1 Quote
Super User Alpster Posted April 30, 2013 Super User Posted April 30, 2013 Heading out in the morning. Gonna try to make it to Knoxville tomorrow night and get to Pickwick midday on Wednesday. Stop telling me about the 100 fish days or I might try to ride all night. Keep that bite going til I get there. Sorry you're having trouble with your truck Mike. I would come by and pick you up, but I'll be on the motorcycle. Good luck getting your truck fixed. See you at Pickwick. Ronnie Quote
Brian Needham Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 long mike, I just had a friend get that warning on his truck last year (chevy avalanche).. I just text him to see what fixed it. He said they had to get a new wiring harness, I don't know which one, but I wish you luck and hope it is a quick fix. see ya on the water! Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted April 30, 2013 Super User Posted April 30, 2013 Thanks Brian. I hope so. I'm driving an Escalade, another GM product. Let's hope it's a simple, and inexpensive fix. Quote
