Simp Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Here is situation guys. I'm looking at going from Friday until Monday. Ive been off the boards lately and don't know what the cabin situation is but if anybody has a spot for those day send me a pm and let me know what the cost will be. Also if there is enough people for another cabin let me know and we can see what is available and what the cost is. I plan on bringing my boat as long as nothing blows up like last year lol. I love Pickwick and crushed it on the last roadtrip so I'm going to do my best to be there. I don't see any complications as to why I couldn't. So if you need a roomy or are interested in getting a cabin or whatever pm ans lets see what we can work something out. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted March 9, 2013 Super User Posted March 9, 2013 Alright Simp. Welcome back and we will see ya there! Jeff Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted March 9, 2013 Super User Posted March 9, 2013 Welcome back Kyle! Contact bassin is addicting. I believe he has a cabin and is needing roomies. Is your dad coming also? Quote
Simp Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Welcome back Kyle! Contact bassin is addicting. I believe he has a cabin and is needing roomies. Is your dad coming also? I sure hope so, but he bailed on me last minute last year. So I'm scared to make any "plans" with him this year. I'll either make him pay me for part of a cabin up front a month in advance, or he can sleep on the floor otherwise! I should have my boat primed and ready Mike so you can count me as a boater. I'll try to get ya a register sheet at some point. Quote
Brian Needham Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I got a room at the Lodge I would be willing to split with someone.... so if a bed to sleep($$$) is a dealer breaker for someone this may help someone on the fence. it averages to be $45.34/night x 5 (your half). The room is good for weds night thru sunday night (even though I am leaving Sun afternoon) I am getting there mid morning weds and leaving after we eat Sunday afternoon. Quote
Brian Needham Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 brian.... pm sent got it, sounds like a plan. thanks Jon! Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted March 12, 2013 Super User Posted March 12, 2013 50 days!!!!!!!!!! 'til the official start, but only 44 'til I pull out of the driveway, and 46 'til I wet a line in Pickwick. At least that's the plan. Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted March 12, 2013 Super User Posted March 12, 2013 20 days until the resort releases the block we have on the cabins and rooms. If you haven't yet made your reservations, you're running out of time. Please note that both Brian Needham and Bassin Is Addicting have beds available. Quote
TN basstracker Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Good Luck guys. Wish I could make it but I will be in San Francisco/Reno the first weekend and Biloxi, MS the 2nd weekend. I fished a club tourney this past weekend on Sunday, March 10th. We ended up winning it with 21.86 lbs and had big fish at 6.38 lbs. The Pickwick Couples Trail was putting in at the same ramp we were and I think they had 20-25 boats or so and it took 21 lbs to win their tourney. We caught our entire limit in Yellow Creek, as did most every other boat trying to escape the 25-30 mph winds we had on Sunday. We caught our fish on Megabass 110 jerkbaits, A-rigs, Shakey Heads in 12-20 FOW on points and transition banks. Quote
Brian Needham Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Actually Mike, Bassin is addicting didn't get a cabin and is staying at the Lodge with me, so we are full too. Quote
Brian Needham Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 yeap, I think everyone is accounted for with beds to sleep in. Correct? on that note......anyone going this weekend, or want to? Quote
BassnChris Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Man o man, it just keeps getting closer! (Insert Roscoe P Coltrain laugh here) Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted March 17, 2013 Super User Posted March 17, 2013 At this point in time I've only heard from a couple of people who plan to attend the Wednesday Evening Wine & Cheese Soiree. That's OK, there's still plently of time. Just let me know sometime the week before the RoadTrip so I can go shopping. In the past I have not taken donations or charged admission, but this year I will do so. No set charge, just give what you like. All proceeds will go to Glenn for his Tackle the Storm Foundation. This is a worthy cause, and I hope all who attend will support Gllenn in his efforts to make a difference. On a different note, I just put a post in the flea market section. I have some rods for sale, and would prefer to sell them at The RoadTrip to avoid shipping problems. Take a look, if you're in the market, and let me know if you want one. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted March 18, 2013 Super User Posted March 18, 2013 Count me in!! Looking forward to seeing you again, Mike. Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted March 18, 2013 Super User Posted March 18, 2013 39 days 'til I'm on my way. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted March 18, 2013 Super User Posted March 18, 2013 Sorry Gary, we'll have to cancel the Soirée'. I haven't received a Registration Form from you. Too bad for the Tackle the Storm donations. Quote
