Super User roadwarrior Posted January 22, 2013 Super User Posted January 22, 2013 Yeah, but if Mike, Glenn and Keri had not shown up with a net, I GUARANTEE, that fish would have weighed 12 lbs! Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted January 22, 2013 Super User Posted January 22, 2013 Can non-boaters attend? Will I be paired up with someone if I am nice. :-) Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted January 22, 2013 Super User Posted January 22, 2013 Yeah, but if Mike, Glenn and Keri had not shown up with a net, I GUARANTEE,that fish would have weighed 12 lbs! More like 14! Can non-boaters attend? Will I be paired up with someone if I am nice. :-) ABSOLUTELY. It is split about 50/50, so finding a ride should not be a problem! Jeff Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 22, 2013 Super User Posted January 22, 2013 No! Just kidding. We have always had room and could make more room. No one will be left behind. Quote
Mr. Swabby(aka westtennessee1) Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Well with the new job, now in Virginia, I'm trying to work a week off to attend my third consecutive BR roadtrip... Right now it looks promising but with the Navy, nothing is a lock this far out. Hope to see everyone there and I'm sure a trip back to my old waters will be a grand time! Lookin' forward to it! 1 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 24, 2013 Super User Posted January 24, 2013 Woo-Hoo! I hope to see you there! Quote

scrutch Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Glenn, Will there be a "Guest Star" at the banquet this year or is that gonna be a surprise? It's gonna be pretty hard top yourself after last year! Quote

Siebert Outdoors Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Of course. The Drum Major will be there. Are you talking about you or me? LOL I think we both have done a number on them. Anyone heard from Big O yet? Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted January 25, 2013 Super User Posted January 25, 2013 Are you talking about you or me? LOL I think we both have done a number on them. I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were in the running. Makes me feel better, that I'm not the only guy who caught more than his share of those slimy beasts. If I recall correctly, I caught five of them, the largest being about fifteen pounds, and the smallest around five. Drum Major is a title I'll be more than happy to cede to you. Quote

Ground control to Major Tom.... The worst thing about catching a 15 pound drum has got to be the letdown after the initial thought that you just hooked a world record smallmouth! Quote
