Looking For A Good Pair Of Boat Shoes

I'm looking for a pair of shoes I can wear barefoot (no socks) and dry quickly if they get wet. I don't really want any sandal type shoes because I always seem to get sunburned with those even if I use sunscreen. Also, comfort is the most important thing to me because I have flat feet. I saw some at a local store but they had basically no padding inside and I knew without even trying them on they would be murder on me standing up all day in them. Let me know if you have suggestions.

I have a pair of TEVAs, they're water shoes that cover the whole foot. They are one of more comfortable water shoes I tried on. Merrells cut me up and the rest of them were just painful to wear

I wear Sperry's, SON-R Bungee, Sperry's ASV Athletic Boat Shoe and when I'm in the kayak in my storm suit I wear Sperry's SeaHiker Boot GripX3. Sperry's are the best boat shoes.

You'll look alittle weird, but crocks are hard to beat. Seem to be a popular choice with bass pros. It took me a while to switch, but the sperrys stay home these days.

I have a fallen arch, shoes are hard to buy and I would only buy them at a store, online can be hassle. I have had excellent success with Teva Helm 2, but they discontinued them, curious as to which Teva is posted above, may be worthwhile to try on.

I agree totally with North GA, CROCs are the only thing I wear on the boat. Super comfy, come in any size, 100% Water proof and stink free.

Love my croc's (even have mickey mouse head shaped holes... Might want to take a look at Columbia Drainmakers. They are what I have begun to wear, dry really quickly and I wear them with no socks. I really like them. Very comfortable.

I don't even have an arch, I'm a 11 1/2 EEE size tennis shoe.

I wear Vibram 5 Fingers a lot. I got 'em to help with a low back issue, but now I'm so spoiled to them, I wear them everywhere. They are really good for fishing, especially out of the kayak. The only thing I wear other than those are some old-school white pull-on canvas boat shoes. $5 at wallyworld.

I'd love to but it's kind of a long haul from Albuquerque to Phoenix, Denver or Dallas just to try on shoes Those are the closest BPS stores to me.

Shimano makes a nice water/boat shoe called the Evair.

I wear the Bimini Bay Marlin deck shoes which is basically a knockoff.

I use Sperry topsiders. Comfy and last seemingly forever. I have on pair that is almost 7 years old and beaten up, yet they still have tread and no holes.

I wear crocs. You don't want to sunburn your fee,t wear socks and your feet will be comfortable all day.
