I am a proud owner/brother of a Topbrass Golden Retriever, the best goldens around. Bred for the field. His name is Saber, he's four years old and in his prime. If he sees a bird he's on full alert. What's special about Topbrass is " We choose only physically and mentally sound dogs in order to produce AWARD WINNING retrievers. All breeding stock is free of defects including Epilepsy, Heart Murmurs, Hip Dysplasia, Eye Abnormalities, and severe Allergies. Our girls are bred to the finest studs in the country. "

I'm sure there are some members on here that have gun dogs, what kind do you have?

Here's the website for Topbrass, http://www.topbrass-retrievers.com/story.htm

My wife and I have two Italian Greyhounds, both are rescues from the areas IG rescue. Before work schedules got in the way we used to foster also. Was fun most of the time, got busy with 4 of them in the house at times, some came with sad backgrounds.

Enzo is a 6 year old male, was abused by his orginal owner. Punched, kicked him and made him sleep in the shower at night in case he had an accident. Was less than a year old when turned into rescue. He is still afraid of people, takes awhile to get him comfortable with people after he does he is extremely loving.

Vita is also a 6 year old male, we do not know any of his background. He was dropped off at the pound at 5 years old. Beautiful IG who loves attention, is the exact opposite of Enzo in loving everyone.

6 year old Black Lab, Neeka. Great with kids, curious about ducks. She's getting a little fluffy with the toddler around tossing her snacks.

4 y/o Weimaraner. He's a good dog. He got stabbed and clobbered over the head by what we assume was a prowler while we were away, he's fine now, but he has gone blind from the head trauma. I hope the clown who did it has a big scar, to remind him how lucky he was that I wasn't at home.

that's terrible.. If somebody or something did that to my dog, they wouldn't see the light of day.

We have 3 shelties, Keeli, Kylie, and Cheyenne, a mutt named Trooper that's 1/4 black lab, 1/4 yellow lab, 1/4 chow, 1/4 german shepard, and Crash, part German shepard, part something else. All good dogs in their own way and all very entertaining most of the time. Trooper is my dog, had him forever and I know now that he's 16 years old his time is growing short but that old dog still thinks he's a puppy some days.

I have a Saint Bernard (Oscar) and a Black Lab mix (Taz).

The Saint Bernard is about 8-1/2 years old. He weighs roughly 120. He was the runt of the litter, which I think I should be grateful for. His father weighed in at close to 200lbs. That would have been one hell of a food bill each month. He still thinks he is a puppy and insists on being a lap dog. He's a big old teddy bear though. You could just give him a big old bear hug. He's my boy!!

The Lab mix is about 5-6 years old. He has tons of energy!! Loves to play and run and constantly smiles!! He is a very happy dog!!! This one is my wifes dog. Although we both spoil the crap out of both, he still knows who mommy is :) . He is roughly 75 pounds and just like Oscar, he thinks he's a lap dog too. Here is the only picture I have of them together.

I got my wife a Weim for a wedding present when we got married that dog is so goofy and hyper and crazy and did I mention hyper. She loved to go fishing with us i had her pointing smallmouth in the river lol. we ended up moving and having to get rid of her so my in-laws took her and now she lives there with the horses. She was to hyper for the kids though she had a problem with that was never mean just to hyper and clumsy always stepping on them or jumping on them we could never put the boys on the floor or in a bouncer when she was in the house

We have a German Shepard now my wife got him when I left for this deployment hes 10months I think now and great with my boys. I met him when i was home on leave hes a big old shep and super friendly and amazing with the boys hes super protective of both of them wich is nice with me being gone.

Grandog is an Australian Shephard.

Very intelligent and loving.

It is fun to see him wait for his "brother" to drop something from the high chair onto the floor.

He loves coming to our house as he has lots of room to run and play plus I feed him dog snacks and people food.

I love pit bulls. They're big babies.
