Super User BrianinMD Posted May 17, 2012 Super User Posted May 17, 2012 My wife and I have two Italian Greyhounds, both are rescues from the areas IG rescue. Before work schedules got in the way we used to foster also. Was fun most of the time, got busy with 4 of them in the house at times, some came with sad backgrounds. Enzo is a 6 year old male, was abused by his orginal owner. Punched, kicked him and made him sleep in the shower at night in case he had an accident. Was less than a year old when turned into rescue. He is still afraid of people, takes awhile to get him comfortable with people after he does he is extremely loving. Vita is also a 6 year old male, we do not know any of his background. He was dropped off at the pound at 5 years old. Beautiful IG who loves attention, is the exact opposite of Enzo in loving everyone. 1 Quote
VolFan Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 6 year old Black Lab, Neeka. Great with kids, curious about ducks. She's getting a little fluffy with the toddler around tossing her snacks. Quote
WookieeJedi Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 4 y/o Weimaraner. He's a good dog. He got stabbed and clobbered over the head by what we assume was a prowler while we were away, he's fine now, but he has gone blind from the head trauma. I hope the clown who did it has a big scar, to remind him how lucky he was that I wasn't at home. Quote

crankbait2009 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I have a Saint Bernard (Oscar) and a Black Lab mix (Taz). The Saint Bernard is about 8-1/2 years old. He weighs roughly 120. He was the runt of the litter, which I think I should be grateful for. His father weighed in at close to 200lbs. That would have been one hell of a food bill each month. He still thinks he is a puppy and insists on being a lap dog. He's a big old teddy bear though. You could just give him a big old bear hug. He's my boy!! The Lab mix is about 5-6 years old. He has tons of energy!! Loves to play and run and constantly smiles!! He is a very happy dog!!! This one is my wifes dog. Although we both spoil the crap out of both, he still knows who mommy is . He is roughly 75 pounds and just like Oscar, he thinks he's a lap dog too. Here is the only picture I have of them together. Quote

Super User Sam Posted May 17, 2012 Super User Posted May 17, 2012 Grandog is an Australian Shephard. Very intelligent and loving. It is fun to see him wait for his "brother" to drop something from the high chair onto the floor. He loves coming to our house as he has lots of room to run and play plus I feed him dog snacks and people food. Quote
