jmed999 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I have some topwater lures that do not rattle (ie. spook) and I have some that rattle ( ie. spook one knocker). When is it best to use the silent ones and when is it best to use one that rattles? ie, water clarity, temp, etc. Thanks for the help guys!!! Quote
NCbassmaster4Life Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Silent are good during spawn, after that you have to take in effect how the rattle will help you through: Rain,cloudy-days,wind,and deeper water, the rattling will trigger a bite for sure. Quote
Super User Marty Posted May 16, 2012 Super User Posted May 16, 2012 Despite general guidelines, like everything else, you can't predict what will work on any given day. So don't hesitate to try different things when called for. Quote
